Malachi Hinton is a professional show jumper originally from Newport News, Virginia.
She has had an extensive junior career among the ranks of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Rated/National Circuit. She has also had the opportunity to train with top professionals in the sport including an Olympic Veteran.
Her accomplishments include being one of the top five riders to represent the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) Zone 3 (which includes Virginia, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, and West Virginia) at the 2016 Prix Des States Junior Jumper National Championships at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg, PA placing in the top 20 individually in the Nation.
Malachi is a 2020 graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and is focused on building her career among the National Grand Prix and International (FEI) Grand Prix ranks with the 2028 Olympic Games and major international tours and competitions in focus.
She established Rhema Sporthorses LLC in 2020 as a sport horse investment and competition stable based out of Toano, Virginia. Rhema means God's spoken word. As a Christian, Malachi strongly believes in pursuing God's plan and that her involvement in the sport of show jumping will be impactful.
She is also co-founder of the ShowAssist app which helps to build connections and facilitate positive relationships between owners/riders and experienced grooms/support staff at rated Hunter/Jumper competitions throughout the U.S. and Canada.
